I served in the US Army for eight years And I'm most passionate about helping people from all walks of life, especially people of color. I firmly believes in hard work, persistence, and consistency. However, I gives back to society by providing Mentoring, Food & Coat drives and Sponsor Events in the community.

My greatest accomplishment remains being a father to his children Aiden and Ayanna, who are my daily motivations to succeed and Im is inspired by my quote, “Mediocrity comes to those who wait; Greatness comes to those who pursue it.

A 27 y/o 2x entrepreneur, student, educator, and self proclaimed “director of self discovery.” Lamaria combines formal counseling training with life experience, and finds art and creativity in all forms of profession, avocation, and healing styles. While still working to master some techniques, Lamaria delved into her community to exchange life skills, and soon became the sought after self care guru. Lamaria founded SelfCare Sunday to provide a space for healing to communities. SCS is a monthly open group therapy session that offers a safe space be supported. These sessions both encourage attendees to express themselves, and provide a safe place for vulnerability and humility. Lamaria’s goal is that everyone “knows better and does better,” personally and socially.
